I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

I just got my WD My Book Studio…I did everything and its showing the drive in My Computer.I can copy paste my data onto the hard drive but when i am trying to install the WD Smartware its not getting installed.i installed it onto my mom’s Windows 7 Home Premium and my dad’s Vista Ultimate and it got installed on those operating systems but when i am trying to install onto my vista home premium its not installing…Plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me guys…i really want it to work…Thanks…

I can’t help you as I don’t use Smartware, but many many people seem to be having problems with these drives and especially the awful Swartware software.

I took mine back to the shop and got my money back and exchanged it for another hard drive from Iomega.
