Plextor blu-ray disc reader

Hi

I’ve tried plugging my Plextor blu-ray player into my WD TV Live Media player but it is not recognised.  Are there any plans to make this compatible?

You can try posting at the WDLXTV site. http://forum.wdlxtv.com/index.php. There is one version of WDLXTV Live with a plugin that can read a DVD player. From my understanding the DVD player is being used as a file reader. Playing commercial DVD’s and bluray movies is a different story. Computer DVD and bluray players don’t contain a hardware decryption chip and the WDTV Live box is not licensed and does not have the CPU processing power to software decrypt commercial DVD’s and bluray movies.
