Plex Media File Locations

Hi all, new to the My Cloud EX2 Ultra. I still have OS3 installed so I hope this is the right place to post!

I have PLEX media server installed successfully on the NAS, mostly works fine except for the odd movie not playable due to transcoding issues.

On setting up originally I created a folder called PLEX in shares in the control panel and mapped a network drive to it (P:), added all my movies and TV shows to the mapped drive, and then went about setting up the PLEX app, by installing the correct version manually on the drive. On doing that however I now have a Plex Media Server file structure in explorer with it’s own created folders.

Anyway my question is do I need to move the media into these folders automatically created by the MyCloud? Is there any benefit, will it run better or anything, or will it make a difference if I leave them where the are?
Please see the image below, and apologies if this is a stupid question, I just want it to run as efficiently as possible!
Many thanks…Paul
