Hi, I can see my list of files fine, but won’t play them just says connecting for ages. All are MP4 for Apple TV format.
I’m using a Lenovo yoga tab 3. It has this fault while at home with good WiFi signal.
Also, if I go out, using other WiFi, I can see picture but it’s like watching in slow motion, picture and sound stutter, using BS player.
I’ve tried VLC, but wouldn’t work.
I am running latest version of software for players operating system, and hardrive ect. My speed actual download speed is 6mb, as I’m on a 8mb package. Not sure of my upload speed, but surely there is a player which buffers all, if u wait say ten mins.
I am only trying to play a 20 minutes clip.
Internet videos work fine from this device in all locations using WiFi.

If these movies are downloaded FROM Apple for playing on Apple TV they will not play on anything but the Apple TV because they are copy-protected. They sure won’t play on any other device.
