Please Help! Re-installation

I have MyBook Live and it worked well on my windows 8 computer. When I updated to windows 8.1 evidentaly my hard drive died and I had to get a new one and restore everything back …including windows 8.

Now I am back … was able to retrieve from the MyBookLive … big smile here … anyway … do I now  have to re-install software and re-configure the MyBookDrive backup settings?  I am a bit nervous … I don’t want to take chances and loose it all again!  Can you advise me please?

Hello,

Since this is a new Operating System and the My Book Life is already working on it, then you only have to install the WD Smartware and setup the backup.
