Playing UPnP stream from NASLite M2 NAS

My HD TV Live sees the media stored stored on my NASLite M2 NAS, but only when I set the UPnP compliance profile on the NAS to “GENERIC”. If I select “DLNA” the player sees the folders, but not the media stored in the folders, even though the HD TV Lite is supposedly certified to be DLNA 1.5 compliant.

It’s not a show stopper, not really an issue at all, I’d just like to know why.

I have posted a similar message on the NASLite forum to try to approach the answer from the other end.

Have you search the rest of the forum about this? I’d give it a try. Or, have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support about this? I would consider giving them a call or sending them an email.
