I found that x264 MKV can be played ok from local drive connected to the USB port or from Shared Network drive over wireless network, but not through Tversity on the same shared PC/drive.
Anybody have explanation for this.

That’s odd – but since it also plays with Media Tomb (popular media server on Ubuntu and other Linux distros), I’d put the blame on TVersity on this one. Don’t know much about it though.
Yes, it is certainly a TVersity issue.
I found so much discussion about the same issue on the web but nobody seems to have the answer!
I guess my only solution is to copy those MKV files to the Hard Disk connected directly to the WD TV Live.
