Platters bad

I am in desperate need here. My WD2500GB has went up. My computer can not read the drive. I took it to local computer place and after days they determined the platters are bad. Everything I own is on this from my past Pics, Docs etc etc

Can this data be recovered with bad platters. I never dropped it It just stopped reading.I know its not cheap but could really use some advice as to where to take it or send it.
