I bought a WD My Passport Ultra external hard drive for Mac in March 2023; it’s not SSD.
I’m using it with a Mac mini M1 with SSD internal hard drive.
I tried to set my WD external drive as the scratch disk for Photoshop 2024, but Photoshop did not recognize my external hard drive. On the advice of Adobe Community, I reformatted the external hard from from Mac OS Extended (which is how it came from WD) to APSF.
Photoshop still did not recognize the drive.
Any idea why this might be happening?
