Photo slide show order

Hi All

                Just brought this unit (WD elements play) and so far it has played all I wanted it to do, the only thing I can’t seem to get right is the photos, I have put them onto the drive and when I look at them on the drive using windows explorer they are all in the correct order and numbered…

Honeymoon001.jpg, Honeymoon002,jpg etc etc

Yet when I play the slideshow on the unit they just show in any random order, I have looked through all the settings for the slide show and can’t see anywhere to change the settings for the picture order, the only thing I can see is how to select a random transition effect for in between pictures.

Please can someone help??

It’s under SETTINGS / PHOTO SETTINGS / PHOTO REPEAT MODE.

I would guess you want to set it to NORMAL.

Sorry but that didnt help, that is set to normal already and its still no good!

even if i open a picture & then press the next button the sequence jumps all over, i was looking at number 95, pressed next and it went to 248, pressed next again and it went to 93??

Hi

   I have managed to sort it, was something to do with the file name, they were originally named…

“Our Wedding-001.jpg”, I have now named them “Wedding001.jpg” and they display in the correct order.

Very strange :dizzy_face:
