PC & Mac?

Hi, can anybody help me please… I’m using both platforms Mac and PC, and I thought to buy My password mostly for video files. Is it possible to format this partially? Or is there any other portable hard I can open for example movies on both, PC and Mac?

One thing is simply format the drive FAT32 and it will work on both. The down side is the largest file it will handle is 4 gig. Checkout post six in this link http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-Portable-Drives/unwritable-drive/td-p/435872 it mentions some software.
