Roku is getting the PBS app ,it would be nice for the WDTV Live Hub
Roku is an “app” player; the WD basically is not – it has a different focus. Have both players and have best of both platforms. BTW, I probably will not sign up for the PBS Roku app – they want my frikkin’ email address to use the app. No thanks – I don’t need to be on another junk email list! (This could be a good reason to create another email address - that’s essentially a “black hole” at Comcast – specifically for the junk email spammers of the world.) Anyway, there are other ways to see the PBS stuff.
You want all that stuff on a WD player you need the PlayOn media server.
