I have 1TB passport drive , recently I reformat and upgraded the windows of my laptop , when I connected my WD drive, my system couldn’t sense, after downloading WD utilities , it’s able to sense drive but asking for password, I have tried my passwords that I use commonly , but still unable to get through. I can’t even access password hint . May I know besides 8 character mix with alphabet , what is min and max length of password, and what are requirements. I am not sure why I can’t access, as I usually use similar passwords.
@gurdeep29 If you’re using Windows 10 have you looked at Windows Credentials to see if there is a password showing for your passport drive? See example image below.
