Password for my Passport (WD Apps)

Per the owner’s manual, I should be able to add a password by: Start > All Programs > WD Discovery > More WD Apps … [or] … > WD Apps… But I do not have either, How do I get them???

I do have the WD Discovery App installed (but ‘WD Apps’ is not there)

Hi,

You need WD Security app. Click Downloads at the top of the screen and Select WD Security download. You also should have WD Drive Utilities. Be careful with your password! If you forget it you lose all of your backups to replace it.
