Passport restore isues

I cannot see the files from my old computer on my passport when I try to restore on my new computer- please help

How did you copy your files into your unit? If you were using WD SmartWare or WD Backup you should be able to locate your files within your WD My Passport in a folder called “SWSTOR”. Files will not be encrypted and you should be able to copy them into your new computer.
