Passport Problem

I have been using my Passport as a back up disk with my Mac for about 18 months with no problems. Suddenly the Mac does not see the disk  and all my data is stranded…HELP!!!

Have you tried the following?

  • Testing it on another computer.
  • Using another cable (you can use an USB 2.0 cable, the largest part of an USB 3.0 slot with accomodate a USB 2.0 cable in it).
  • Checking Disk Utility

Hi…already tried another cable and another computer…alas no dice…regarding the third option: Checking Disk Utility, how do I open the HD!!! It is not shown on my desktop??
