I have several files that I want automatically backed up. It seems to handle the .mdb files
OK, but not the Excel file.
Any ideas why ??

Hi, what backup software are you refering to? If you are refering to Smartware, it should backup all of your Excel files. Also be sure to have the latest Smartware version installed (2.4.2).
Sorry, that does not help me. The Smartware software is up to date and it says the files are backed up,
But I go to the Backup Folder (WD Smartware.swstor) and the dates on the files are still the older dates.
I have it set on automatic backup, so unless the real backup folder is hidden elsewhere, it is just not
working as advertised.

I can see I will be getting no help here, so this thing will become a manual backup disc.
Too bad, it showed promise.
