When my brother-in-law tried to put music on my hard drive, he said it was locked. I didn’t know that and am not sure I to unlock it. Any suggesstions? I have a Passport 500gb.
If you don’t mind losing your files, try installing Smartware and enter any incorrect password 5 times, a pop window with the option to format the hard drive should come up. If that doesn’t work, then you have a faulty drive that needs to be replaced.
