My passport elite is not recognised by my machine. I run an HP Pavilion, Intel i5, Win7, and all my drivers are updated. The elite works ONLY if I uninstall WD Smartware, and reinstall it all, and then the eliteand WD Smartware will work only until I power off or unplug the elte.
