Partioned my passport: only one partition shows, how can I get access to the other part?

Hello, I have partitioned my WD my passport ultra to use with windows and mac. It has worked fine and I made my last backup a month ago. Today I wanted to make a new backup but only “My PassportPC” was visible and not “my passportmac”. The disc doesn’t seem to be damaged as the diagnostic I ran indicated that the “my passportmac” part had been “dismounted” (desmontado in spanish). So my question is: how can I recover that part of the external drive?

Hi there, you can click on the link below for some troubleshooting steps. Also, you can reformat the drive under exFAT so you can use it on both Windows and Mac. Please not that formatting the unit will erase all data.
