If you can access the My Cloud Dashboard, what firmware version does it indicate? V4.x, v2.x or v5.x? Does the My Cloud Dashboard Alert/Notification icon (
) indicate any issues? Does the Diagnosis field on the General page indicate an issue?
You access the files on the drive using Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder. If you cannot access the My Cloud by it’s name, try using it’s IP address instead.
Some users have experienced the blue color on the front LED burning out. They’ve fixed the issue by using SSH to modify the firmware code to change the blue to another color (for example green).
