I have a 1TB My Passport for my iMac (with 676GB memory still available). Since updating to El Capitan, the icon stays orange and does not go back to blue. What does this mean? thanks.

I do not know what this means, but are you having issues with the drive? Maybe if you have an issue can give some idea of why this is happening.
Thanks. No, the drive is working fine – just the icon changed color. It used to be teal before I upgraded to El Capitan. I was just wondering if the orange icon meant anything.
