I have a WD My Passport Essential SE 1 TB USB 2.0 (P/N: WDBABM0010BSL) which I am using for sometime now. I need to open the enclosure of it and take the Hard Drive out so that I can use it as part of my NAS buildout…
I have been reading reviews and videos. All say the enclosure can be removed easily but when we get to the internal drive, we still will not be able to use it as a SATA drive as there is no SATA connector inside. All you can find is a USB connected drive.

Please help me some way to get to the Internal drive. Any help is greatly appreciated.
