I hooked my WD up to an external hard drive (also a WD) and it worked well…at first…then the second or third time I tried it it says it cannot find any media in the local storage…took Hard Drive to computer…works great…do I need to return the Player?
Try a different port in the WD TV, also, connect the drive to a computer, look for the folder WD TV, delete that folder and connect the drive to your WD TV.
