On-screen text when file starts to play

Hello,

I have a WD TV Live hooked up to a 16:9 HDTV in a lobby, which is looping video content.  When each file starts, on-screen text is briefly displayed.  The text says something along the lines of 1 / 1 MPEG audio.  I’m wondering if there’s a way to disable this on-screen text.

You’re not running current firmware, are you?

I didn’t complete the initial install of the device, but I doubt the firmware has been upgraded.  Is there functionality once the new firmware is applied to disable on-screen text?

Yes, some time ago, the firmware was changed and that message no longer appears.
