On-line registration

I recently had a second hard drive failure on my EX4 in two years. When I went to the WD registration page to check my registration and warranty the page said it wasn’t registered. I checked on two other drives that I have registered and the site said one wasn’t registered and the other was out of warranty. When I originally registered the products on-line I received an email confirmation that they were registered and when the warranty expired. I called customer support and they said they were registered in their system but that I couldn’t see them on my page…

I asked if I need to re-register them and I was told that I cannot do it on-line and that I have to send in a picture of the sales receipts.

What a poor business process WD has for registration.
