Not able to transfer files from my MacBoock Air to my WD Elements

I have a WD Elements (external portable hard drive) whcih is full of movies. I can open the files that are already in the drive, but I am not able to transfer files from my Mac to the drive, and either to create a folder. Can somebody help me? Thanks

tengo un WD Elements (memoria externa) lleno de pelis, cuando conecto el disco duro a mi ordenador puedo ver la películas que están dentro, pero no puedo crear una carpeta dentro del disco duro, y tampoco puedo pasar archivos de mi MacBook al disco duro. ¿Alguien sabría decirme algo? Muchas gracias

It is possible that the drive is not formatted for Mac use. Try formatting the drive.
