Why are there 2 ethernet ports on the rear of the PR4100
For example; If you have a switch that supports link aggregation you can connect both ports to the switch (and configure both the NAS and the switch accordingly)
There are other options as well, but this is what I use.
I have mine link aggregated in 802.ad. I tried it in other setups and it wouldn’t connect. Any difference noticed may be placebo for the three users that I have. It is smoother IMHO
