I am getting a constant noise from my live tv hub when it is turned off. My partner noticed it late one night. I then have to go unplug it from the wall to stop it. My mum has one as well and hers doesnt make the noise? Should i take it back?
Are you sure it’s fully off? The Hub doesn’t turn off by taping the power button, you have to press it for at least 10 seconds.
ThePizzaMatrix is correct. Just pressing the power button only puts it in stand-by mode. In this mode, the fan is still running and the HDD is still accessible. You will need to hold down the power button on the box or on the remote for at about 5 seconds to turn the device completely off.
