Hi,
On my WD TV Life is a USB drive with my DVD movie’s in the root of the HD
Every directory is the name of the DVD movie:
When i go to the ‘Video’s’ menu on the WD TV Life i see all my directories only NO movie information.
It should be like this? Only it isn’t
Only all information is empty. I use the standard database inside the WD TV Live configuration.
What do i wrong?
thanks
what is the model number of your player?
Model nr. is WDBGXT0000NBK with latest firmware

Have downloaded the movie info using Get Content?
Movie Info (Metadata) won’t display if you’ve got each of your movies in individual folders.

Where do i have to put my movies in tho get this working?
What kind of structure do i have to use?
thanks!
I got my (some) movie information. About 80% is ok.
Strange that 20% is not find even there is a .jpeg file with the cover in the directory and the movie is in the movie database when i look for it.
any suggestions howto find the ‘lost’ 20%
thanks
How are you getting the movie info.
Have you tried getting it manually.
You can input the correct movie name manually and it should show a list to pick from.

Ok this works, thanks.(manually)
Only some movies showing the information in the front page of the ‘video’s’ and others i have to press the OK on the movie button to show me the movie information.
I would like to see all information on the frontpage.
thanks
if you have to press “OK” to view the Movie Info then your Video File is in a “Folder”
If you have “DVD Vob Files” in a folder … try this trick of mine
