I have the following internal SSD:
Model Number: WDC PC SN520 SDAPMUW-512G-1101
Serial Number: 1921C1451804
Firmware Version: 20210001
I know, by searching online, that newer firmware exists for this model. Dell, per example, delivers a firmware upgrade for this model, that fixes a issue that I have (disk freezes after getting out of the lower power state): https://www.dell.com/support/home/pt-pt/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=ffk91
I don’t have Dell hardware, so that package does not work for me.
I have used WD SSD Dashboard, but it tells me no firmware updates exist.
Is there any other way that I can address this? Why isn’t SSD Dashboard detecting a firmware upgrade?
