I’m using my new WD live media player via my hard drive through an HDMi cable… Most of the movies play just fine, however when the movie’s audio is “digital” there’s no sound. I changed the settings to “digital” and there is still no sound… There’s no problem with the .mkv movies themselves because they play just fine via my laptop… any suggestions? Thanks
In laymans terms, the TV cannot decode the 5.1 (digital) signal and covert it to stereo, you need an a AV amplifier and surround speakers.
