The “Audio channel 1 unsupported” message is showing on screen when playing the files taking from Canon SX1IS camera. That cam. is recording in 1920x1080 stereo .mov format. Playing on computer all is working fine. But playing on WDTV never got the sound no matter on analog, optical and HDMI output(already changed the setting on menu), only picture is work!
Same here with the Canon SX 200 IS. Apparently all new Canon cameras use the sowt codec for audio compression and this is currently not supported by WD media Player. I assume more and more people will get hit with the same problem. Please add this codec to the next Firmware release. Thank you!
