No audio on DVD rips with DTS

Hi all, just got my WD TV Live today and was very impressed playing back all my CD backups stored as FLAC and my DVD backups stored as MKV. However I noticed after a while certain DVD backups had no audio, a bit of further investigation showed this to be all of the ones saved with DTS audio. All files are being played from a DLink Sharecentre Pulse NAS with 2 Samsung Spinpoint hard drives. I have the Audio/Video settings : Audio Output set to Digital Pass-Through and the WD TV Live is connected via HDMI to a Yamaha RX-V667 AV Receiver and then via further HDMI to a Samsung 46" LCD TV. I know the sound is stored ok in the MKV file as my PC will play them all correctly, they were all ripped from my own original disks using Handbrake with audio set on PassThru and video set on H.264 (x264). So is there anything I can do to play these files or do I need to rip them all again? Please note these are all DVDs with standard DTS, I haven’t got round to ripping my Blu-Rays and HD-DVDs yet. Oh and the WD TV Live automatically upgraded to version 1.04.31_V as soon as I connected it. Any help or advice would be very appreciated.

There was a new firmware release today.
