Hi.
New to the Forum and new to my WDTV box, it arrived this morning.
I followed the instructions, namely, connected the mains power, then HDMI then optical audio, then LAN cable.
Flicked the socket’s on switch and the WDTV light came on and that was it! No signal to the TV. Turned it off with the remote control but when I tried to turn it back on, nothing happens, it will not turn on. The only way to get the unit on is to flick the electrical socket switch off and back on again.
i have tried a different HDMI and also tried to connect with AV cable supplied but nothing there.
Is the unit faulty? or is there something really basic I’m missing out?
