Got the drive in march, didn’t actually install it till around July. Worked fine for a time, but every time I boot my computer up I get imminent S.M.A.R.T. failure predicted. ran diagnostic tool, said it was unable to repair bad sectors. Yet windows itself says there is nothing wrong with the drive ?
Is there anything else I can do for this HDD before I start the process to RMA it?

Just try to recover the data from the drive and apply for the RMA.
