hi all. i have a my book world edition which came with wd anywhere back up version 3.50.4590 . i have issues with the first back up where as some files wont back up as the address is to long etc, there is a newer version 4.50.6554 but on checking auto update it says im up to date when im clearly not !
i spoke to support and they said not to update unless i get asked to automaticly although i dont think he really understood me. where is the download for this update ? and would it damage my drive in any way after all its only the software that drives the back up procedure or have i missed something??
