New user denied access

I have 2x 1 TB WB and a 2 TB WB.

I created a user in the 2 tb and i am able to access the shares with the new user no problems.

However, on the 1tb wb, i created a new user and set permission to full on selected shares and am unable to log in using that username and password.

Any ideas?
