New Puchased external hardisk is not working

hi,

I bought a WD external hardisk early of the year from a computer stall in singapore. It was not working at all even i tried with different computers. So, i came to check at WD website and found that this model has been out of warranty. So, it is rather unfair for me to purchase a outdated product from that shop and now i am not able to use this WD hardisk. Please advice what should i do ?

If you have the original purchase receipt then just E-mail it to them. This happened to me once.
