the instant anyone tries to join my directplay games that I am attempting to host (MW4 for example), my mynet900 completely drops all connections, both wired and not, including no longer broadcasting SSIDS. i usually have to reboot it to get things going again. latest firmware installed, port forwarding for directplay ports enabled. Anyone else able to successfully run this router?

Yes, tried that. No change in behavior.
I had a similar issue!
It resolved when I disabled “FasTrack Plus QoS” 
One of the reasons why I bought my n900 was for the “FasTrack Plus QoS!”
