Engineering has validated a software fix for this issue. If your PiDrive is reporting an incorrect capacity (500GB vs 1TB), please download and extract the attached zip file to a Windows computer, and run “WD Drive Capacity Restore.exe” with the affected drive connected.
If you’re downloading via Chrome, your download might be blocked due to this being an “uncommon” file. If so, please click the “Keep” button to proceed with the download.
