I just need to know if I can shut down my computer while external book is running and if it will start up when I start my computer…it is going to storm and I need to shut down my computer…Thanks…I am nw and I hope I posted this right…mcsue

My  MY BOOK shuts down automatically when the computer is turned off. It then comes on when the computer is turned on.
