New hard drives for DW Cloud EX2 Ultra

I just purchased a DW Cloud EX2 Ultra NAS with NO hard Drives. I will purchase two brand new WD40EFRX Red Hard Drives.
What do I do before installing my new hard drives into my WD Cloud EX2 Ultra . Do I need to format the hard drives ? Thank you

Hi nga,

You just have to put the hard drives in the NAS enclosure and follow the instructions in order to configure the RAID.
