New GDRIVE: Message Appears When Trying to Open

When I plug in the new GDRIVE on my mac a message appears:

USB device is drawing too much power, hub to which it’s attached will be deactivated.

I’ve tried opening it on two different macs and have received the same message. I’ve never been tech oriented ( that’s an understatement- smile ) so any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Which G-DRIVE and what type of Mac are you using exactly? Are you plugging it into a hub or directly to the Mac?

Thanks so much for your response. I worked with it this morning and managed to open it- it seems to be working fine!
