New firmware, slow USB load

Hi all,

I’ve just upgraded my WD TV Live with the latest firmware, everything seems to be fine, but I’m facing a strange problem: connecting an external usb drive takes too long to load.

When I connect a external usb drive the system takes something like 6 to 8 minutes to meke the device selectable and browsable.

With previous versions of the firmware the drive was immediateley visible and browsable. Is this a known issue? Are there workarounds?

So can you confirm that the only solution is to repair an (even) damaged file system? What if the filesystem was already checked (as in my case)?
