I bought a new hard drive today and when i tried to initialize the disk it gives an error saying “The request could not be performed because of and I/O device error”. I have a 90gb ssd and a 500gb hard drive already installed. This 3tb will be my 3rd hard drive but i cant figure out how to get it working. Please help me if you can.
Getting the same message on one of my 3TB GREENS except mine is filled with data BIOS shows it as having 0GB capacity and I’m reading it could be a firmware issue.
