Networking problem

I have been having trouble networking with my WD Live (firmware 1.05.04_V_WDLXTV.COM_WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.1.1). I formatted last week and that’s when the troubles started. Have done it again twice with no change.

Simply put I cannot access the media player and it can’t access me. My other halfs laptop which is also running Windows 7 x64 is networked with mine and there are no troubles at all, The really weird thing is when the laptop is on the media player and my pc work together like they are supposed to

I have tried the reg edit and the secpol.msc / gpedit.msc edits to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Make sure everyone is in the same WORKGROUP.

@belveder - You are using the HACKED firmware. You need to ask over on their forum.

These forums are for the offical firmware.

I realise it’s the hacked firmware but I also tried the WD TV LIVE HD Firmware OFFICIAL 1.06.15 firmware (which I should have said sorry).
