Netgear Ready NAS Duo v2

Hello All -
I have recently installed two brand new WD 4TB Red Plus drives in my Netgear Ready NAS Duo v2. The combination worked for a week or so and now all I get is all four Netgear lights illuminated when I turn it on. I have tried the reset manoeuvres as described in the user guide but nothing changes.
Being a techy klutz I have no idea whether the problem is with the Netgear or the new hard drives. Can anybody suggest my next move please?
