It’s impossible to know either way.
NetFlix doesn’t indicate the resolution of their videos, and your TV will only report the resolution that the WD is set to.
NetFlix will indicate a Video is “HD” if it’s 720 or higher; they don’t say if it’s 720 or 1080.
David Zatz and Tech of the Hub have reported that the new WD Live streaming device plays Netflix 1080P streams. It would be great if WD would confirm this. I am considering a purchase, but 1080P on Netflix is a must for me too.
