Need to reinstall WD MY Passport

I have been trying to reinstall my WD My Passport as if it were new but having difficulty. It is recognized but not allowing me to follow prompts etc as if it was the first time using. Please advise.

In the past, I have had to uninstall (so I could re-install) an attached USB device, including a drive. I needed to google to find out how to do so from windows. Suggest you do the same. I do not remember the procedures.
